Michael Bérubé, DVM, PhD

Hometown: Rapide-Danseur (i.e. dancing river), Québec, Canada
Education:

  • DVM, University of Montreal
  • PhD, ovarian physiology, University of Montreal

Research Interests: My research focuses on exploring the potential of OXPHOS inhibitors for the prevention and treatment of reproductive cancers. I investigate their impact on cancer cell metabolism and the tumor microenvironment using a combination of molecular biology, biochemistry, mouse models, and microfluidic technologies.

Outside of Lab Interests: When I’m not in the lab, you’ll likely find me outdoors with my wife and our two children. To maintain a healthy work-life balance, I enjoy hiking, jogging, biking, and fishing. I’m also a fan of board games, often playing with family and friends.
