Dr. Niemi received her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in 2011. She completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Oregon Health Science University in Portland, Oregon, in 2015. Her research interests include improving assays for biomarkers in ovarian cancer and surgical outcomes in gynecologic oncology.
Dr. Huffman received her medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2010. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the integrated training program at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Mount Carmel Health in 2014 before joining the fellowship at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Huffman’s current research includes investigating the mechanism of action and reversibility of the suppressive effects of common anesthetics and analgesics on natural killer cell cytotoxic function against cancer cells as well as novel drug development in rare gynecologic malignancies.
Dr. O’Shea received her medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in 2012. She went on to complete her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Her current research includes investigating the role of macrophages in ovarian cancer metastases.
