Lebovic and colleagues release 2nd edition of Infertility handbook

Dr. Dan I. Lebovic, M.D., Professor and Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) in the UW Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, has authored a second edition of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility: Handbook for Clinicians. His co-authors from the first edition, John David Gordon, M.D., and Robert N. Taylor, M.D., Ph.D., join him for the updated version of the handbook, which is intended as a guide for a wide range of medical professionals working in the REI field, ranging from nurses to medical students, residents, fellows, and practicing physicians.

According to Dr. Brad van Voorhis, who contributed the foreword to the second edition, the handbook, with over 500 pages of detailed tables, flowcharts and figures, provides, "comprehensive yet concise coverage of reproductive medicine, using notes and simple diagrams to help the reader understand the basic science underpinnings of a disease process while also imparting practical evidence based management principles."
