Welcome New Faculty

The OB/GYN Department welcomes new faculty members: Drs. Cynthia Brincat, Sarah Bradley, Igor Iruretagoyena, Jacqueline Ogutha, and Ahmed Al-Niaimi.

Dr. Cynthia Brincat, MD, PhD, will be at UWHC for gynecology specialties and the Woman Care Clinic. Cynthia received a MA in Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy at Loyola University, Chicago, and Doctor of Medicine at Stritch School of Medicine, Loyola University, Maywood. She completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology and fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Sarah Bradley, MD, is located at East Towne Clinic. Sarah completed medical school at the University of Iowa, College of Medicine, followed by a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Duke University Medical Center.

Igor Iruretagoyena, MD is the newest addition to the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division. Igor received a Doctor of Medicine at the Universidad Central de Venezuela. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Bridgeport Hospital, Yale University. Igor recently completed his MFM Fellowship with our department and has successfully defended his thesis towards his MS degree in the Endocrinology-Reproductive Physiology Program through the UWSMPH.

Jacqueline Ogutha, MD, completed medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Washington University in St. Louis. Jacqueline joins staff at the East Towne Clinic.

Ahmed Al-Niaimi, MD, begins in the Gynecologic Oncology Division. Ahmed received a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, and completed residency training in general surgery at the University of Al-Nahrain in Iraq. He then began transplant fellowship training at the University of Miami and one year of residency in general surgery at the University of Illinois. Ahmed continued at the Department of Gynecologic Oncology, University of Minnesota, for a McKelvie Fellowship for Residents. He then completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, a Women’s Health Fellowship at the VA Hospital, and Masters of Science in Population Health in 2008. Ahmed recently completed his fellowship here in Gynecologic Oncology.
