UW Health - East Clinic
The general internal medicine clinic at UW Health-East Clinic offers
a team approach to health care. Our board-certified physicians and nurse
practitioners provide comprehensive basic health care, as well as care
for acute and chronic illnesses. The physicians are also members of the
UW Medical School faculty, where their work in education and research
ensures they offer the latest in medical knowledge and treatment. Nurse
practitioners--whose advanced education qualifies them to provide routine
health screening, physicals and care for common acute illnesses--work
closely with our physicians. Supervised by our faculty physicians, resident
physicians (doctors of medicine who are obtaining specialized training)
are also part of the team.
