Completion of a clinical, basic science or educational research project is a requirement for graduation. Many of the department's clinical and basic scientists would be delighted to mentor a resident's project. Up to $ 2,500.- in departmental funds may be requested to finance the work. Results of the research are presented during the Senior Research Seminar in June of the 4th year of residency. A prize is awarded for the best project.
