Research

A gloved hand holds a vial of red liquid in front of a vent hood

As members of a prestigious research community at UW-Madison, it is our mission to foster a passion for obstetric and gynecological research through mentorship and training, as well as to educate future scientists and physicians in the integration of ideas through interdisciplinary and collaborative biomedical research.

Such a strong foundation incorporates every facet of the research process: from the laboratory bench where fundamental science is developed and conducted, to the doctors applying cutting-edge research and developed technology in the field.

As such, research conducted in a state-of-the-art clinical department are translated to real-world results and are instrumental in cultivating a higher quality of patient care for a healthy and bright future for all women, infants and children.
