Mission

The Barroilhet Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s research mission is to transform the prevention and early detection of gynecologic cancers through innovative, patient-centered science. Her work aims to uncover the earliest cellular and metabolic changes that lead to cancer, with a particular focus on ovarian cancer and individuals at elevated genetic risk. Through interdisciplinary collaborations with experts in tumor biology and bioengineering, Dr. Barroilhet is advancing integrative care models and translational research that bridge clinical practice and scientific discovery to improve outcomes and quality of life for patients.
